About the Washington Chiefs
The Chiefs were established in 1993 as a nonprofit organization specializing in youth and community service. Although the football program has attained national status by winning six championships, the Chiefs organization has received several local honors: District of Columbia Department of Recreation, the Greater Washington Urban League, the City of Gaithersburg and the Department of Health and Human Services.
